Real-time qPCR Reagent Kit for quantification of the mutant allele Val617Phe in the JAK2 gene SMuQ
Tests
Information
Sets of reagents in the SMuQ (Somatic Mutations Quantitative) format are designed for
the quantitative determination of somatic mutations in human genes by allele-
specific PCR with real-time detection.
Scope of application: in oncogematology in the differential diagnosis of Ph-negative
myeloprophilerative diseases (true polycythemia, essential thrombocytemia, primary myelofibrosis).
The specific determination of the mutant allele is achieved due to the different effectiveness
of Taq polymerase elongation completely and incompletely of the complementary primer target, as well as selective blocking of amplification of the wild-type allele.
