Information
In situ-hybridization (ISH) is a powerful method for visualizing nucleic acid sequences -DNA and RNA - directly in cells and tissues. For this reason, it is a very elegant technique to obtain relevant genetic information within the morphological context. ISH can be performed by means of fluorescent labelling or by chromogenic detection.
